Applications - Dosage

Solubility of the EMARUST® LCI-1 in solvents of very different natures opens up many possibilities :

  • oil based or water soluble lubricants
  • metal working fluids

DOSAGE ACCORDING TO THE USE

  • lubricants and metal working fluids : from 0.5 to 2% based on the total weight

EMARUST® LCI-1 can release an odour specific to its composition, even in the dry film, for a prolonged period of time.

From one batch to another, or when ageing, EMARUST® LCI-1 colour can become darker. This change does not affect the product’s properties.

Aspect : colorless to yellow liquid
Density : 0.93 – 0.97 at 20°C
pH: 7.0 – 9.0 at 20°C
Solubility : soluble in water, in oxygenated solvents (alcohols, glycols, acetone, ethers) ; soluble in white spirit

Storage - Shelf-life

Store EMARUST® LCI-1 in its original packaging tightly closed.

It is recommended to use EMARUST® LCI-1 within the the label).

EC N°1272/2008 [CLP] :

H314 – Skin corrosion / irritation, Category 1B
H400 – Hazardous to the aquatic environment, Acute Category 1
H411 – Hazardous to the aquatic environment, Chronic Category 2
