EMADOX® WAc

EMADOX®WAc is a mixture of organic compounds mainly based on amine derivatives set to limit the metals corrosion.

EMADOX®WAc is efficient for:

  • Sulfamic acid
  • Citric acid
  • Phosphoric acid

Applications - Dosage

EMADOX®WAc has been designed to limit the ferrous metals attack when they are exposed to sulfamic acid, citric acid or phosphoric acid.

EMADOX®WAc is needed for:

  • Boilers or water circuits descaling
  • Chemical cleaning by circulation
  • Steels stripping or pickling

EMADOX®WAc is added to the ready-to-use acid solution.

The use level is:

  • 1% based on the acid quantity

Aspect: colourless to yellow liquid
Density: 0.99 at 20°C
Solubility: Water soluble in all proportions

Shelf-life

In the normal conditions of storage for the full packagings, EMADOX®WAc can be kept 5 years.

Comments

EMADOX®WAc has some high wetting properties which accelerate the acid’s penetration and diffusion in the deposits to be eliminated.
